Hopeless?

If you chase two rabbits both of them will get away.  Likewise the Bible tells us we can not serve two masters.  I have heard it said that we can live 40 day without food, 4 days without water, 4 minutes without air, but only 4 seconds without hope. The Bible tells us of this great hope, “The Lord is my hope.”

I am not sure what has led you into distress today, however, get quiet listen and seek the Lord, and place your hopelessness in His care.  You will be amazed at His capacity to care for your deepest needs

What is your heart saying?

Getting a new perspective is hard when you have lived a certain way for years, but if we do not change the way that we look at things (ourselves, life or the world we live in) then there is no hope for changing in the future…

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH WHO YOU ARE RIGHT NOW OR ARE YOU JUST CONTENT?

DO YOU REFLECT AN ATTITUDE OF ENTITLEMENT RATHER THAN A SPIRIT OF HUMILITY?

We need to get our hearts and minds in check.

If we do not keep our hearts in check with our heavenly Father, it won’t be long before we attempt to occupy His place on the throne.  Some of us are probably already there… We are the king or queen of our lives instead of letting God guide and direct us (scary thought).

If you want to benefit the most out of this year and you really want to make a change in your heart to draw nearer to God then as you read God’s Word (the Bible) reflect more on personalizing Gods truths in light of your own heart as you seek to understand the depth of His truth.

SO IF YOU ARE READY TO STOP BEING THE king OVER YOUR OWN LIFE, AND ARE READY TO SURRENDER YOUR LIFE TO THE REAL KING… GET ON YOUR KNEES AND START TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

Standards to live by

You’re only as good as your private standards. When was the last time you gave a task your absolute best even though nobody but you would know about it?

Find three ways to improve. Nobody keeps improving without being intentional about it. Do a little research to find three things you can do to improve your professional skills. Then dedicate the time and money to follow through on them.
